Twittering with Mathematica

The latest Wolfram blog post is Twittering with Mathematica. Would you have expected a mathematics and visualization package to be able to interact with the API's of a social media package? A large set of case studies about how to do it. Nicely done. Hints to how WolframAlpha was done.
